    Our first problem with the house was getting into it. The lock didn’t work well and it took at least three tries to get it to open. We finally gave up on the front door and went in and out through the garage. The carpeting was filthy and the small rugs in the bathrooms need to be washed or replaced. The bedspreads need a cleaning. The sofa in the living room was wonderful, but in general, the house seemed very dated but we loved the location and having the use of the electric four seater golf cart.

    Our rental was exactly as stated online.
    Location was great w friendly neighbors.
    It was clean and well equipped w kitchen and bath supplies.
    Golf cart was great and had roll down sides for chilly rides.
    My suggestion which would make it even better for us snowbirds would be:
    - patio table/umbrella so we could eat outdoors, play games
    - lighting in the sunroom so it could be used in evenings, and a small table w 4 chairs in there to eat at.
    This I’m giving 4 star rating - docking due to inability to utilize sunroom and patio as we would’ve liked.

    The place was clean and easy to use for us and met our expectations. The only suggestion I would offer is to provide some BBQ cleaning tools to make it easier to keep clean for the next guest. There was also a plug adapter behind the master bed that put out light. We got approval to unplug it but had to move the bed to do so. We plugged it back in when we left but was not very easy to do so. Finally, didn't like having to put down a $1500 deposit that took almost 3 weeks to be refunded.

    Just a few things I feel could use an improvement. Golf cart that was provided needs to have brake lights and turn signals. i feel this is a safety issue. The light bulb in master closet didn't work. Hard to see in the closet. The third twin bed bedroom could use a mirror. This rental was in a good location. Close to shopping, the town squares, championship golf courses. The rental agency was very professional and easy to work with. Overall a good experience. I would consider renting this property in the future.

    The house had the potential to be a "good find". The location was good, beds were awesome, and the kitchen was fully stocked. That's where it ends!

    The home was advertised with a golf cart, but had no key. The owners made NO effort to rectify the problem. The property managers made numerous phone calls with the owners to rent a cart for us. NO cart ever showed up! Grandkids very disappointed. We came back from the pool on or around day 3 to find the water was shut off. Property management again came to the rescue by calling the owners to fix that situation . But before the water was turned on the air conditioning quit and now that was NOT working. You go on vacation and pay good money to NOT have water and air. This is June in central Florida! Down Home Property was extremely helpful with this very stressful situation. My recommendation is if your looking for a stress free vacation....don't rent this home!
