This beautifully decorated 2 bedroom home is located in one of the newer neighborhoods.  Dunedin is conveniently located between Lake Sumter Landing Market Square and Brownwood Paddock Square.  The Town Squares are one of the most popular attractions of the community where you'll find shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, and live entertainment nightly! You're about a 5 minute ride to Colony Plaza Shopping Center where you'll find Publix for grocery needs, Walgreens Pharmacy, banking, Bealls Outlet, restaurants and more.  And minutes to the Dunedin Neighborhood Recreation Center where you'll find an adult only swimming pool (age 30 or over), bocce ball, shuffleboard and horseshoe pits, Captiva Recreation Center & Manatee Recreation Center where you'll find a family friendly swimming pool, billiards room, card/board game rooms, more bocce ball, shuffleboard and horseshoe pits are only minutes away.  Bonifay Country Club & Belle Glade Country Club with championship golfing, golf pro shop and a restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner are only minutes away as well if a day in the fresh air sounds like fun.  If you're looking for more  about a 5 minute ride to Colony Cottage Regional Recreation Center where you'll find many organized activities, arts & crafts room, sport swimming pool, basket ball courts, tennis & pickle ball courts and so much more.  

You'll feel welcomed and relaxed as soon you open the front door to your home away from home.  This home was thoughtfully decorated and boasts a bright open floor plan. The kitchen is complete with everything you'll need to prepare and serve meals and the dining room table seats 4 comfortably and offers enough room to entertain your new friends!  The Living room offers plenty of comfortable seating, including a pull out sofa if you need a little more space for the overnight guests, and a flat screen TV for when you're entertaining friends & family or just enjoying your favorite television shows.  The master bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, a flat screen TV for your enjoyment, large walk in closet, and a private master bath with a walk in shower.  The guest bedroom has been set up as a den with a comfortable sleeper sofa for those guests that stop by or ideal to grab a good book and find solace. The bedrooms and both bathrooms are set up with extra towels and linens.  And of course there's an enclosed lanai with inviting seating to enjoy reading the morning paper with your coffee or juice or enjoy some relaxation at the end of a busy day of activities. You will take comfort in the beautiful private backyard that offers a table and chairs to enjoy your dinner while enjoying the peacefulness of nature around you. The backyard also offers plenty of room for the family fur baby to stretch and play in private.

This pet-friendly home comes complete and includes a Gas golf cart, BBQ grill & WiFi internet connection. With the purchase of resident ID cards you can use any of the 29 executive golf courses with no greens fees. You pay resident rates on greens fees at the 11 Championship courses. You're also entitled to use any of the family friendly and adult only (30 or older) swimming pools, organized activity swimming pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, billiards tables, tennis & pickle ball courts, basketball courts, sand volley ball and over 1000 organized activities every week through the recreational centers.

  Home was centrally located and well stocked with linens, kitchen ware, etc. A previous reviewer had mentioned “micro bugs” in the kitchen, but we saw no evidence of that. The golf cart had a leak problem, we reported it and it was addressed in a timely manner. Would stay here again.

  The home was very nice the only problem that we had was it was hard to get all of down-home properties the first day they want to be checked in we had to call the emergency number to find out our codes to get in they also gave us the wrong information for where to pick up our passes so it took us two days to even be able to get her passes and be able to do anything

  I was pleased with the property overall with some minor concerns. The throw rugs, the place mats on dining table and the fabric furniture coverings needed cleaned. The final concern were the micro bugs crawling all over the beautiful counter tops. I was literally afraid of the kitchen. Other than that I really did like the place. 👍

  This is our 2nd year spending 2 months in The Villages. Would recommend to any one looking for warmer weather and a fun place. The location of the house we rented was great. Our neighbors were wonderful.

  Great get away home! Beautiful property to stay at. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was comfortable, having two baths was wonderful and the back patio was a great place to hang out. The only thing I would change is to add a queen bed to the guest room. Had a wonderful time in the Villages!

  Overall experience was good, but there were some cleaning issues that should have been taken care of prior to our arrival.
  
  Throw rugs in the lanai and bathrooms were dirty and the kitchen and floors in dining/living room should have been cleaned better, otherwise everything else appeared to be clean.
  
  Property Management personnel were professional, but our contact person did not return phone calls without a follow up call.
  
  Golf cart’s gas gauge was inaccurate.
  
  We feel that before the next renter comes in, Down Home Properties should inspect or the cleaning service should make notes for the homeowner if they need to replace or clean certain items, throw rugs, towels, blankets, etc.
  
  The kitchen layout with the beautiful large countertop, open concept and counter height table and stools were really nice, and the leather furniture and lounge chair was nice. The enclosed lanai was an unexpected treat, along with the outdoor patio and barbecue grill, as well as the use of the golf cart. Location was perfect.
